MEET THE FOUNDERS
Bailey Rollins
Bailey is a distinguished birth doula, postpartum doula, IBCLC lactation consultant and educator who brings an extensive array of expertise to The Doula Boutique. Her holistic approach encompasses fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, and lactation support, positioning her as an all-encompassing resource for families.
Previously an elementary school teacher, Bailey adeptly integrates her dual passions for education and childbirth. She earned a Master’s Degree in Infancy & Family Development/Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College and a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Maryland College Park.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Bailey is an avid traveler, dedicated practitioner of yoga and meditation, and enthusiast of vegan cuisine.
Nubia Jones
Nubia is a highly accomplished birth doula, postpartum doula, parent educator, certified breastfeeding counselor, and integrative nutrition health coach, as well as a student midwife. Most notably, she is a devoted mother of five. Her journey in supporting women and families began with a profound personal experience and evolved into a dedicated professional career.
Having birthed with midwives, Nubia cultivated a close relationship with the birth center where her children were born, serving on its board of directors and leading support groups for expectant families and breastfeeding mothers. Her career as a doula flourished as she generously volunteered her expertise in her hometown of Washington, DC, and later expanded her practice to serve a diverse clientele throughout New York and New Jersey.
In her leisure time, Nubia delights in international travel, culinary exploration, dancing, immersing herself in nature, and cherishing moments with her teenage and young adult children.
